WRITER AT DESK

I was born and grew up in Northern Ireland, in the historic city of Derry – Londonderry aptly coined ‘Stroke City’. ‘So – where do you come from, Tom?’ I hear you ask…’

I live in the West Midlands of England in the attractive village of Kinver and write novels. Developing an e-book/pod publishing venture (TJB BOOKS) is a big challenge and eats into my writing time. Only myself to blame for that though!

(Click  NOVELS page for full details of books mentioned below)

Following publication of my cyber-crime thriller ‘TOO SMART TO DIE’ featuring cop DCI Matt Proctor, my second novel in the DCI Matt Proctor series ‘IN IT FOR THE MONEY’, takes Proctor’s murder investigations into the deadly world of sport’s match/spot-fixing gambling syndicates. In my third novel in the Proctor series ‘NO WAY OUT‘, brain-washing cults and ‘grooming’ crimes test Proctor’s resolve to the limit and place him and his daughter Sarah in desperate jeopardy. I plan writing more in the Matt Proctor series.

My international political thriller ‘SARCOPHAGUS’ is set mainly in Ukraine with ex-army sapper protagonist Greg Stevens coerced into espionage and combating a ‘dirty bomb’ threat. Stevens joins US CIA agent Sean O’Neill in ‘dirty bomb’ threat to London, new York and Paris.

‘THE ZEPPELIN OF KINVER EDGE’ is an illustrated short fiction based on the German Zeppelin raids on England in World War 1 (1916).

All books available as print and e-books from amazon

My short stories have been published in anthologies with some radio broadcasts and one act plays professionally performed in West Midlands theatres/arts venues. (See ‘PUBLICATIONS PLAYS’ page)

  1. Thank you so much for following my new blog.

I can see I am going to get a wealth of information from yours, not to mention some good stories to read.

My About bit is sitting idle because I have yet to think of something to write.

    Hope you are well..x

  2. Hey Tom, we saw your post in WP.com’s forum (here’s the link: http://j.mp/U8NMXB) and since the thread is already closed, we thought we could reach you through your blog, right here!

The thing is, Zemanta unfortunately doesn’t work in the WordPress’s default Dashboard anymore, but can be easily re-installed via our browser extension.

It comes with all the features you’re already used to (images, in-text links, related posts & tags) and is really easy to set it up. Just follow the link to our downloads page and install the appropriate extension for your browser.
